The album is a mix of two genres: Alternative Rock and Funk Metal. On the one hand we have improvised guitar solos and the harsh vocals, inherent in popular rock bands of America of 90s 2000, on the other hand we have funky bass lines, syncopated drums and little bit overloaded guitar.
A non-standard approach in lyrics, usually funk music associated with light lyrics "about nothing" but in the lyrics of "From Subway To Soul" is markedly dominated aphorisms and hidden meanings. Imagine when such question like "indifference" is presented under cheerful but at the same time aggressive funk metal
