Liberty Calling: Straight To My Face
Pop-Punk in the U.K is on the rise; with the likes of You Me At Six, Neck Deep and Light You Up recently taking the reigns. Now Liverpool based Liberty Calling are on the scene with their debut track hitting YouTube and other social media platform yesterday; just in time for their show at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts’ 2ube event on Friday (13th February) at 5pm.
If your a fan of catchy chorus’ and and soothing harmonies this song is calling out to you. This acoustic version of Straight To My Face feels like Blink 182s 2003 hit ‘Miss You’, crossed over with You Me At Six’s hit ‘Liquid Confidence. The song may not be able to reshape Pop-Punk, but it certainly tells us that this four piece means business!
Catch Liberty Calling at The 2ube on Friday 13th February at 5pm in LIPA bar. For more guitars, Pop-Punk jumps and catchy high-tempo tunes!
